5月12日－14日，Area Chairs先于大家来到Quebec共同决定今年文章的命运。

Out of ~1200 registrations, there are 791 submissions, among which 80% are MIC, 14% CAI, and 6% others.

Based on reviews and author rebuttal, area chairs recommended the following:152 clear accept 19%405 clear reject 51%234 borderline 30%
A second area chair is paired to an area chair to rank the latter's borderline papers and vice versa.
After paired ranking,103 borderline papers 13%217 accepted papers 27%471 rejected papers 60%

The 103 borderline papers went through two rounds of discussion and finally 39 accepted and 64 rejected. In total there are 254 papers accepted, rendering a final acceptance rate of ~32%.

华人Area Chair是这次program committee的主力军。53个Area Chair中占了16个，多于1/4。
他（她）们是：周少华－西门子、沈 理－印地安娜大学、刘天明－乔治亚大学、李 硕－西安大略大学、蔡卫东－悉尼大学、叶谋添－北卡大学、黄俊洲－德州大学、廖 芮－西门子、郑国焱－瑞士伯尔尼大学、汪琳薇－罗彻斯特理工、程 骏－新加坡科研院、许言午－新加坡科研院、王 乾－上海交大、罗熊彪－厦门大学、Su-Lin Lee －英国帝国理工、Elvis Chen －Robarts Research Institute。
实际到会有14人，天明和熊彪没能成行。

星期六5月13日晚上，大家一起到Restaurant Wong聚餐。 整个会议5月14日上午结束。我们一行五人去了restaurant aux anciens canadiens吃了一顿farewell lunch，该餐厅位于号称是魁北克最古老的建筑里。
关于Aux Anciens Canadiens
＂有人将这家餐厅译为先祖餐厅，光是听听名字就觉得很霸气了！该餐厅于1966年开业，迄今为止也有50年了。餐厅的建筑本身是全魁北克最古老的房子，有着300多年的历史，厚实的墙壁、屋内木制的装饰，以及整个餐厅的传统布局都让人感到这间老屋的厚重。其实最重要的是该店的美食，融合了法裔加拿大传统美食，不仅很受当地人的喜爱，就连许多游客也闻名赶来！＂ 美景 美食 咱们，九月魁北克见！
