示例：investors now account for a quarter of all land purchases in some States。

在一些州，农业用地交易的四分之一为投资者购买。

注：a quarter的意思是1/4，在英语表达习惯中，分数由基数和序数组成，即分子由基数组成，分母由序数组成。分子大于“1”时，分母是复数。例如，表示法如下：

1/2:a half 1/3:a/one third 1/5:a/one fifth

2/3:two thirds 3/4:three quarters 3/5:three fifths

2 some药

示例：some 300 migrants arrived to live in Canada every week in 2017。2017年，每周约有300名移民在加拿大定居。

3 up to./as much as.最大值.

示例：as is shown in the chart、up to two million people children were orphaned in 2012 in Africa。正如图表所示，2000年非洲最多有200万儿童成为孤儿。

示例：according to the chart above，the number of tourists in this city has increased by as much as 20% from 2010 to 2018。根据上图，这个城市的游客总数

4 less than/under.小于，小于；

More than/over.超额，超额

示例：there are two thirds make an annual income of less than/under \ 10，000。三分之二的人口年收入低于1万美元(/以下)。

示例：in Indonesia，more than/over 500 million people live below the poverty line。印度尼西亚有5亿多人生活在贫困线以下。

3 with an estimated.也许吧。

示例：Namibia has one of the highest HIV prevalence rates in the world，with an estimated 15.3% of the adult population affected。纳米比亚是世界艾滋病
