特朗普充任美国总统的时候经常咒骂fake news。"Fake"与"false"有什么不同？应该是前者主观造假的意味更浓一些。比如，"fake"也有动词形态，人们可以说，“He faked the report” —— "他捏造了这个报告"。"False"则只是一个形容词。"False"表示某个事物是错的、假的，至于它为什么是错的、假的，可能有不同的原因，也许是有意而为，也许是失误出错。

特朗普作为政客和个人都有许多问题，但他斥骂美国媒体造假，说得也还对。美国的传媒从来都不是净土一方，只是它在最近几十年里的表现是卑劣有加，江河日下。这方面的主要表现就是利益集团充分控制了各大媒体，通过它们制造舆论，其影响之大，无所不及。CNN，福克斯，华盛顿邮报，纽约时报，莫不如此。本来互联网新媒体的出现给予了美国小人物表达自己意见的机会，但随后就有了推特和脸书这样的超级玩家，其力量之强，就连特朗普这样的人物也不是对手，只有左一声"fake news"，右一句"news fake”。

当然，特朗普咒骂"fake news"，他自己口无遮拦，本身也制作了大量的虚假新闻。这也正是美国当今生活的无奈之处。

至于”false news"这个说法，在英语里并不常见，现在最流行的说法就是"fake news"。

除了fake news，人们还可以fake其它许多事项。记得哪部小说或电影里，男女两人关系破裂了，要分手了，那女人怒气冲天，冲着男人叫嚷道："Tell you what, I faked it in bed too!" 对于男人，这算是杀伤力较大的攻击了吧。

中国有句土话，假的真不了，真的假不了，说得很有信心的样子。就这句话，在当今社会，true or false?
