Jazz is a fun dance style that relies heavily on originality(原创性) and improvisation(才艺表演). Many jazz dancers mix different styles into their dancing, incorporating(v.结合 )their own expression. Mountain Dances

卡德利尔舞（Quadrilles ）

每四对男孩和女孩舞伴排成一个正方形，一般由伴奏音乐合唱团中的第二小提琴手一面提词姿势动态口令一面开展的民族舞蹈。此正方形舞源于荷兰，于十八世纪初至中期颇为时兴，可以说是格子舞的原名。

枪骑兵格子舞（The Lancers）

与卡德利尔舞十分相近，但更加优雅的正方形民族舞蹈，各自由6/8, 2/4, 4/4等不一样节奏感的五段舞曲音乐组成。女性朋友们着内吊箍圈的长蓬裙，男性则着高挺夺目的军官礼服，该舞自英法传到后时兴于那时候上层社会。
