弹幕英文咋说？

目前媒体报道中，通常用bullet screen来表示弹幕，其他常见的说法还有bullet subtitles，bullet comments。

►A “bullet screen” is an emerging new feature on online video sites in China and Japan, which allows real-time comments from viewers to fly across the screen like bullets.

弹幕是中国和日本在线视频网站新兴的一种功能，可以让观众发出的实时评论像子弹一样横穿屏幕。

►The idea behind “bullet screens” originated in Japan, where they were first popularized by a Japanese ACG (animation, comics, games)video portal called Niconico, which later became the inspiration for similar Chinese ACG video sites such as Bilibili.

“弹幕”这个概念来源于日本，由一个名叫Niconico的动漫游戏视频网站普及开来，后来也催生了中国类似哔哩哔哩的网站。

▌AcFun（A站）

AcFun is a Chinese video sharing site which began as an ACG themed video sharing site created in June 2007.

人称A站的AcFun是中国的视频分享网站，于2007年6月创建，初期主要立足于动漫。

▌Bilibili（B站）

Bilibili, also a bullet-screen site with a slightly younger user base, was founded in 2009 by a former senior member of Acfun.

同样是弹幕网站的哔哩哔哩于2009年由A站的前资深成员成立，用户更加年轻化。

弹幕都发些啥

弹幕评论基本可以分为以下几类：

▌Snarky remarks 吐嘈

Usually directed toward the Chinese subtitles, actors, characters, or plot progression.

通常针对中文字幕、演员、角色或者情节进展。

▌Helpful explanations 科普

Comments help explain the plot, the background story, the significance of lines lost in translation, references, and visual elements easily overlooked.

有助于理解的评论，帮助观众解释情节，故事背景，未能翻译出来的重要台词意义，参考信息，还有容易忽视的视觉要素。

▌General comments 普通刷屏

General comments such as “the lighting is excellent”, “her acting in this scene is mind-blowing”, and “hahaha.”

普通评论，比如“灯光美翻了”，“她这一幕表演好让人亢奋嗷嗷”，以及“哈哈哈哈哈哈哈”……

▌Inside jokes or memes 自己人才懂的笑话、梗

For instance, the opening sequence of every Person of Interest episode begins with viewers filling the screen with “You/We are being made into a watch”.

比如每集《疑犯追踪》开头的弹幕里都是满屏的“你们/我们被做成表了”。

注：“被做成表了”，是《疑犯追踪》片头一句台词"we are being watched"（我们被监视了），恶搞翻译成“我们被做成表了”。

▌此外，当然还有掐架的、打卡的、互动的、刷屏找存在感的……

但影响最恶劣的，当属剧透的（spoilers）……

源于周星驰1999年的电影喜剧之王。当一个演员的戏份演完时，会下场跟剧组拿一份便当当作报酬，然后离开。现在已经被延伸到可以形容剧中角色的死去。当你觉得一个角色要死了，就可以说演员要领便当了。

网友在弹幕里要求和导演或者视频制作者谈人生，有时是因为剧情太狗血，有时是被剧情虐惨了。

▌次元墙

The boundary between two- and three-dimensional worlds

通常，动漫游戏被称为二次元（two-dimensional works），真人表演的剧集电影则属于三次元世界（three-dimensional works）。

次元墙就是指三次元与二次元的粉丝之间不可跨越的隔阂，也就是思路对不上、无法沟通。

Fans of the different dimensional works usually don’t share the same understanding and find it difficult to communicate with each other, hence the boundary between two- and three-dimensional worlds.

来源于猫扑论坛表情符号的第233号，是一张捶地大笑的表情（an emoticon of lying on the ground laughing and hitting the floor with fists）。

从此大家就开始把这个加在句末表示在狂笑。（It has the same effect as “HAHAHAHAHA”, “LOL” and “LMAO”.）

▌立flag

raise a flag

预示着某事件很可能即将发生的征兆或标志，用英语说就是“event flags”或“triggers”。

立flag通常指的是“死亡flag”，也就是人物说出某些特定话，做出某些特定动作，人物就出现领便当的桥段。

比如，男主人公说：“我一定会回来”，这就是一个flag，因为最后结局很可能是，他再也没回来。

▌FFF团

FFF Inquisition

仇视情侣，尤其是异性恋情侣的人（couple haters, or more specifically, heterosexual couple haters）。通常剧情中出现一对情侣搞对象的镜头时，屏幕上就会飘过一连串FFFFFF。常见的弹幕包括：

▌prprprpr

licking sound 舔屏的声音

来源日语ペロペロ（pero pero），意思就是舔。通常男神大特写出现时，会出现满屏的prprprprrr……

▌贡献弹幕

contribute to the bullet screen

当一个视频的弹幕太少时，就会有网友发言表示要“贡献弹幕”、“我来组成弹幕”等，也有人会等弹幕“养肥”了再看。

▌您的好友已经上线

Your friend has logged on

通常一个角色出现时，尤其是人气比较高的角色，就会出现一批弹幕：“XXX已上线”。这种说法还有引申义，比如主人公做了愚蠢的事情，弹幕就会吐槽，“男主智商已下线”。

▌高能预警

high energy alert

预示有激动人心的高潮情节即将到来。

关于弹幕你怎么看

人们对弹幕的感情可谓爱恨交织，看看小伙伴们都怎么说：

►Even when the videos are boring, the viewers are getting together and entertaining each other.

有时即使视频很无聊，观众也可以聚在一起，彼此娱乐。

►It might have an impact on people's attention spans during movies.

弹幕也许会影响大家对电影的专注度。

►I would watch a movie or a TV show episode with “bullet subtitles” off during the first viewing, and then watch it again with the function on just to see what fellow users have to say.

我看电影或者电视剧的时候，第一遍会关上弹幕看，然后再打开弹幕看一遍，只为看吐槽。

►When too many comments have been posted around the same time in the video, they obscure the entire screen.
