In the state of Zheng，there was a man who wanted to buy a pair of new shoes for himself。
以前有一个郑国人，想去买双新鞋。
Before leaving home，he measured his foot with a rope。
所以提前量了自己脚的尺寸。
When he entered a shoe shop，he put his hand into his pocket to find the rope。
but he found he didn ' t take the rope with he decided to return home to get the rope back。
来到集市后才发现忘记量尺寸的绳子。我还是回家拿尺寸吧。
but when he rushed back to the shoe shop with the rope，the shop had been closed . he got nothing。
当他回到集市的时候，集市已经散了，他最终没能买鞋。
an old man saw him and asked : " why don ' t you try on the shoes with your feet？"。”
有人问。“为什么不用自己的脚试试鞋子呢？”
the man said : " I would rather trust the measurement than my own feet . "
他这样回答。"我想相信比我的脚好的尺寸。"
