At 22:45pm on April 18^th, Erofey's RF9420 flight took off from the Zhengzhou Xinzheng Airport and started its maiden voyage to Athens along the regular air freight route. This is the second China–East Europe and the first China–Athens regular air freight route put into use at the Zhengzhou Xinzheng Airport.

With the help of the new air route and wide trucking network, commodities from China will be transported to destination countries faster than ever before. Compared with the old transport mode, this new one increases the delivery efficiency by 20%, with the cost falling by 5%.

The seventh national census showed that, Zhengzhou had a permanent population of 12.6 million and became the only city in Henan province with permanent residents exceeding 10 million. Over the last decade, Zhengzhou's permanent population increased by 3.97 million or 46%, which was the best proof of Zhengzhou's strength and attraction.
