Overview of job:

We are looking for a motivated and talented Planning senior executive to work on one of the most challenging categories of the Automobile industry. You will be directly involved in the holistic planning across all communication channels including dealer marketing for this client.

Overview of job:

◆As a National Investment Director, you will be part of the Investment Strategy Team responsible for creating value for the client and revenue for the company.

Responsibilities of the role:

◆ Working with the Agency Business Units: The candidate will promote the importance of investment strategy analyzing client’s current spending pattern and deliver new routes, with an emphasis on proprietary media in 2016, which are in line with our client’s customer behavior. Working with the Head of Investment Strategy and our partners to identify opportunities which can be translated into trading opportunities

◆ Working alongside GroupM trading: managing the volume commitments. Acting as the gatekeeper to ensure all volumes commitments and practice are in line with GroupM trading’s direction.

◆Building Client Relationship: Attend senior client meetings and develop a healthy and trustworthy partnership. The candidate must be a good listener who is able to translate the needs and wants of our client and formulate them back into a media trading idea, working alongside the National Investment Director.

◆Accurate reporting: Deliver bi-weekly proprietary media & pricing analysis reports vs the Mindshare pool to the Agency CEO, GroupM Trading President & Mindshare Head of Investment outlining increased profitability, new media analysis and spending by client.

◆Value reporting & measures: benchmark TV & OTV pricing against our Mindshare pool to ensure delivery of competitive pricing. Act as the gatekeeper on all external audits whilst building & delivering analysis, rationale & next steps for the results. This area includes the management of all global value reports.

◆New Business : Support the agency as required , working with the National Investment Director and trading division, take ownership of all pricing required with the pitch exercise and final presentation of the recommended direction.

What you will need:

◆Minimum 8 years’ experience in either the media/advertising/marketing industry.

◆Must have a strong commercial acumen, has rigor in selling, and possesses a robust understanding of trading practices and numeracy skills.

◆Possess strong selling skills or ability to adapt and connect with different group of people.

◆Confidently present and participate in client meetings, both having and articulating a clear POV.

◆Prioritize tasks and appropriately delegate to individual members of the team, ensuring they are given adequate time, resource and are sufficiently trained to execute tasks with high quality and consistency.

◆Ability to speak Mandarin is a plus.
