strong名词 strong的名词和动词

strong作形容词讲的时候有“强壮的、坚强的、牢固的”意思；作副词讲的时候有“强劲地、猛烈地”意思；其名词为strength，有“力量、力气、兵力”的意思；其动词为strengthen，有“加强、巩固、变强”的意思。

strong的用法

（1）强壮的，强健的

He is strong enough to lift that rock.

他力气很大，能举起那块石头。

（2）强大的；(风、水流等)强劲的

The strong winds revolve around the eye.

（3）(性格)坚强的；(态度等)坚决的；强硬的

（1）Young people surpass old men in strength.

（2）That will add strength to your argument.
